Vintage school map features 'Oriental Empires' on the upper pane and 'The Achaean World' on the lower pane. Published by Denoyer-Geppert Co of Chicago, This is a 1943 edition made in the USA and salvaged from Ohio's Oberlin College, the first US College to admit Black and Female students. An educational, industrial and graphic piece of history that doubles as large scale art. 

Ink colors: Yellow, blue, pink, red, green
Heavy matte paper 
Built-in heavy duty metal mounting brackets at the top 

This is one of three vintage maps originating from Oberlin College available in our shop. 

Measurements in inches: 70" tall x 48" wide 

Good vintage condition: Bottom five inches of the map is darkened typical of age, visible in photos.
