Handwoven vintage tribal rug or wall hanging features alpaca wool tightly woven into a figure of a man flanked by eagles, shapes and an abstract floral 'vine' border. The figure looks similar to Kachina imagery of the Hopi Pueblo Indians, or a totem of some sort. The folks I purchased it from believed it was from Bolivia, though I can't be certain.
Very good vintage condition, very clean overall with minor wear typical of age. One side is in flaw free condition. The other side shows a few tiny spots and a few areas of blue candle wax which I have not tried to remove, visible in last three photos.
